Description of Krups 506-703 Mix 8008 Hand Mixer with Stand
The 3 Mix 8008 allows the avid gourmet to use as a hand mixer or easily attach to the base for standmixing. A rotating tilted bowl creates, in conjunction with spatula attached to side of bowl, superior and consistant mixing results. Ideal for whipping, mixing, beating and kneading all varieties of dough. The removable handle is equipped with central controls, ergonomic design, and a balanced weight distribution for ease of use. Inclusive of two attachments (mixing beater and dough hooks), the 3 Mix 8008 electronic continuous variable speed controls (plus a turbo function) give total control for optimum mixing results.With a simple locking maneuver, this hand mixer becomes a stand mixer--complete with a 3-1/2-quart plastic bowl. At 240 watts, the mixer is not as powerful as a regular stand mixer, but it's more powerful than most hand mixers and plenty powerful enough to knead up to 3-1/2 pounds of dough. Three features ensure ingredients are thoroughly mixed. First, the bowl locks onto its stand and rotates automatically. Second, the bowl tilts to concentrate ingredients along one side. Finally, a removable spatula snaps into place beside the beaters or dough hooks (both included) to continuously scrape ingredients from the bowl's sides as it rotates. The mixer has a continuous variable-speed button for precise work, a soft-start setting to prevent splattering, and a turbo button for extra power when needed. In its stand mixer setting with the bowl in place, the appliance measures 9-1/2 inches wide, 13 inches high, and 15 inches deep. --Fred Brack
